Event Overview

Before and alongside hospital services, Karuna built a network of Community Health Workers and awareness programmes — especially for women. Experts lead interactive sessions on health, hygiene, anemia prevention, and prenatal care while linking families to hospital OPD and emergency facilities.

Urgent First-Aid Triage Guide:

Have the person sit down and stay calm. Loosen tight clothing. Call our emergency hotline immediately. Do not leave the patient unattended or let them walk.

Face: Ask to smile. Does one side droop?
Arms: Ask to raise both arms. Does one drift downward?
Speech: Is speech slurred or strange?
Time: Call hospital emergency immediately. Every minute matters for brain function.

Apply direct, continuous pressure using clean cloth or bandage. Elevate wounded area if no fracture suspected. Do NOT remove large embedded foreign objects. Rush directly to KHHIMS Trauma Bay.
